ShiMo Global Group, LLC (D/B/A: Brothers’ Exports & Imports, Bangladesh) is a harvester, producer, processor, supplier, and exporter of frozen shrimp (mainly Black Tiger and fresh water shrimps and other deep sea water fishes and seafood. We are not a broker or buyers’/sellers’ agent. We sell directly to our importers as principal. We own our own farm land, harvest, produce, and export our own brand of shrimp and seafood. Our brand name is “ShiMo” and “Tokaii”. ShiMo Global does not “spot sale” any shrimp or seafood to anyone in order to maintain its brand standard and as part of our commitment to our existing buying partners.

Can we use our company brand name on the imported shrimp and seafood?
Yes! Depending on the size of your order, long term relationship with us, as a value added service we offer “private branding” of our shrimp and seafood for our valued clients. There may be an additional charge for private branding our products. Other terms and restrictions may apply.
Do we have US FDA and EU approval for processing and exporting seafood?
Yes with its partner processing plants. All our partner and affiliate companies’ shrimp and seafood processing and packaging plants are US FDA (listed on the FDA Green Tag as approved processor and packer) and EU approved. They are also HACCP food safety regulations compliant.
What is our quality assurance and shipment guarantee policy?
We stand behind 100% on our product’s quality, safety and the shipment. If for any reason, there is any verifiable discrepancy on our part with our product, we will refund you the money.

The time of shipment varies depending on the type of seafood, the timing of the order, port of destination, method of shipment among other causes. What should you look for when shopping for shrimp?
First look for freshness by checking its smell, then look at the end of the shrimp right before its tail. Make sure the shell is in tact, firm and close to the shrimp’s body. You can always check quality and freshness of shrimp by de-veining it with a knife (if allowed). Once purchased place the shrimp or seafood on ice, in the refrigerator or in the freezer to ensure the freshness and taste.
What is the life cycle of shrimp?
Shrimp is typically breed, harvested, and matured in wild marine and inland farm habitat. A female shrimp (prawn) can lay anywhere between 50,000 to 1 million eggs. The laid eggs are then hatched into naupil (A nauplius is the first larva of crustaceans) within 24 hours. These naupil feed on egg yolk reserves and matures through various larval stages to a full grown adult shrimp within 12 days of birth.
